NEW - YOUR HOME APOTHECARY
Create Your Own Herbal Remedies & Beauty Products
A 7-lesson course in making real herbal medicine -remedies that are so effective and deeply nourishing, you'd want to buy them yourself
Created by certified holistic herbalist Karen Roos, founder of WILD WAYA
There is something in you that already knows this. Something that leans toward plants -that saves recipes and lingers in the herb aisle and feels a small pull every time a jar of dried Rosemary catches the light.
And yet... When it comes to actually making something, you pause. Because it feels like you should understand more first. Which herb for what. What dosage. What if you do it wrong. So you keep collecting information. Your herbs sit dormant in their jars. And the quiet voice that keeps saying there's something here goes unanswered.
"The thread broke. The knowing that had been passed down for thousands of years -grandmother to mother to daughter- simply stopped."
This is a rupture that happened to many of us. We were told to outsource healing. To leave it to the experts. To buy the product, and not ask too many questions.
This course is about picking that thread back up. With your hands, your kitchen, and ten remedies that will change how you see everything.

THE IMAGE TO HOLD
A row of amber jars.
You made them.
Someone in your house gets a sore throat. You don't reach for the car keys. You reach for the shelf.
Thyme honey, dark and thick and medicinal. An oxymel you blended last month. A chamomile glycerite, gentle enough for a child, made in your own kitchen with ingredients you chose and trust completely.
You reach for it without hesitation. Because you made it. You know what is in it, how it works, and why.
This is what we are rebuilding together. Not just a skill. A relationship -with plants, with your own body, with the confidence of someone who knows they can take care of the people they love.
Why herbs?
One herb can calm the nervous system, support digestion, ease inflammation, nourish the body with minerals, and help restore balance -all at the same time.
Unlike many modern products that are designed for a single symptom, herbs work more like nature itself: supporting the whole ecosystem. They tend your inner garden.
Over time, they help create the conditions for resilience, vitality, and health to flourish.
That is why herbal traditions have endured for thousands of years.
In seven lessons, you'll learn to create any herbal remedy you want -even if you have never done anything like this before.

WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES
Why make your own remedies?
Most people think herbalism is about the herbs. What they discover is that it is about something else entirely.
When you make your first remedy and use it and feel it work -everything changes. It's an unmistakable shift: you are part of the solution.
When you make your own remedies:
- You know every ingredient.
- You choose the quality.
- You avoid unnecessary additives.
- You save hundreds of euros over time.
- You gain a skill you'll use for life.
- You develop a relationship with the plants themselves.
And perhaps most importantly: You stop feeling dependent on products and start feeling capable.

By the end of this course, you will:
✓ Know how to make teas, infusions, decoctions, tinctures, glycerites, syrups, oxymels, infused oils, salves, balms, and body butters
✓ Understand when and how to use each preparation
✓ Have ten remedies on your shelf
✓ Know how to continue creating remedies beyond the course
✓ Feel confident working with herbs safely
✓ Understand the foundations of a real home apothecary
✓ Have a deeper relationship with the plants around you
Because this course isn't just about making remedies. It's about becoming someone who knows how.
What you will make
You make every single one of these during the course. And more than that — by the end, you have the foundation to create any remedy you want. These ten are just the beginning.
Nervine Tea Blend
Your daily nervous system support. A blend you build yourself, understand fully, and adapt to the season. Tea as medicine, not just ritual.
Digestive Decoction
A warming decoction for digestion, bloating, and after-meal discomfort. The difference between a decoction and a tea becomes clear the moment you make this.
Immune Syrup
Concentrated plant power for the moments when you feel something coming on. Made from a herb that has been used as immune support for centuries — and whose active compounds are among the most studied in plant medicine.
Thyme Honey
One of the most effective and beautiful remedies on your shelf. For sore throats, coughs, and chest congestion — made from a herb whose active compound is clinically comparable to pharmaceutical cough medicine.
Oxymel for Immunity
The ancient immunity medicine: honey and vinegar, herbs and time. Deeply protective. Taken daily through autumn and winter, it becomes a ritual as much as a remedy.
Hair & Muscle Oil
An infused oil that increases local circulation and eases inflammation — deeply nourishing for both tense muscles and the scalp. Stimulates hair growth and leaves hair with a natural shine.
Calendula-Rose Body Butter
Luxurious, deeply nourishing, and genuinely medicinal. Calendula's anti-inflammatory resins combined with rose for skin rejuvenation and cellular repair.
Chest Balm
For congestion, coughs, and tight chests. Made in the same lesson as the salve — same method, different medicine. Once you understand the base, what you can make with it is limitless.
Tincture — the folk method
Mason jar, no scales, no complicated equipment. You learn the method and leave knowing how to apply it to any plant you choose, for the rest of your life.
Chamomile Glycerite
Concentrated calm without alcohol — safe for children, gentle on sensitive systems. For sleep, anxiety, and the nervous system that never quite switches off.
The seven core principles (not just lessons)
This course is built around seven simple steps that take you from beginner to confident home herbalist.
Begin where you are
You don't need more knowledge to start. You need a starting point. You set up your apothecary with what you already have and learn how to approach herbs without overwhelm.
Meet your kitchen herbs
Six common herbs become your first teachers. You learn through taste, smell, touch, and observation — not memorisation.
Water-based medicine
Teas, infusions, and decoctions. The foundation of herbalism. You create your first internal remedies here.
Syrups, honeys & oxymels
Sweet medicine and traditional seasonal support. Simple preparations with powerful effects.
Oils, salves & body butters
External remedies for skin, muscles, and daily care. You learn how plants work through the skin.
Tinctures & glycerites
Concentrated extracts using simple folk methods. No equipment needed.
Your home apothecary
How to choose remedies, build seasonal rhythms, and continue independently without overwhelm.
Four bonuses
Everything you need to go deeper, go wider, and make the practice genuinely yours.

THE QUESTIONS THAT KEEP PEOPLE FROM BEGINNING
Let's meet them honestly
"I'll probably do it wrong."
The folk methods in this course have been used for hundreds of years precisely because they work without precision equipment. No scales, no laboratory conditions. Inside each lesson you learn how it works and why -so you understand what you are doing, not just following steps.
"I've tried herbal courses before and got lost."
Most herbal education starts with theory and arrives at practice -maybe. This course starts with your hands. The difference between reading about Chamomile and holding a glycerite you made yourself is the difference between knowing about swimming and being in the water.
"I don't have the time."
The videos are short, pre-recorded and self-paced. You've got access for a year. No schedule to keep up with as there are no live lessons. And the remedies themselves are mostly waiting. You set them up in minutes. The plants do the work. Many students complete a lesson in a lunch break and have something on their shelf by the weekend.
"What if herbs aren't safe with my medication?"
This is the right question and it gets a real answer inside the course. You learn specifically which herbs interact with which medications, which preparations carry more risk, and how to work responsibly. Knowledge is the safety here. And if you have a specific concern, you can ask directly. Every question gets a personal response.
"I'll buy it and never actually do it."
The cure for this is not willpower... it is starting so small that starting is easy. That moment when you touch what you made is what changes the pattern. Once you have one jar, you want the next one.

YOUR GUIDE
Karen Roos - WILD WAYA
The path here was not direct. Seven years ago, a burnout stripped back everything that wasn't essential. The Earth started calling. I answered.
Since then: training with herbalists, shamans, and Q'ero teachers in the Andes. Studying the place where plant chemistry and plant spirit meet. Building an apothecary in my kitchen. Sharing the knowlegde passionately.
"What I have learned -and what I want to give you- is that you do not need rare plants, expensive equipment, or years of study to feel the power of herbs. The ones in your kitchen hold everything you need to begin. This course is what I wish someone had handed me at the start."
